On Sept. 19, 2017, thirty local students were honored at the 360AWARDS hosted at the Parkview Mirro Center. The 360AWARDS is an annual event directed by the RespectTeam, a local nonprofit that speaks to middle school and high school students about the importance of self-respect and respect of others. This year’s event raised more than $10,000 to continue the efforts of the RespectTeam in local schools. Nominators were asked to pick students who are making a positive difference in their homes, their schools and in our community. Five of the nominated students received a $1,000 scholarship at the event, courtesy of Parkview Health.
