The holidays as a little kid were magical, or at least they were for me. I just don’t think I’ll ever outgrow the magic of Santa, and waking up to freshy wrapped presents under a tree. Giving gifts is just as fun, but I’ve been known to shop last minute, and its especially difficult when you are broke.
For those of you who do have a little bit of money saved up, see some of our favorite gifts all under $10! There is something for EVERYONE on your list.
Personally, I’ve found that some of the best gifts are experiences, and you don’t have to spend a dime. At 29 years old, I don’t remember half of the presents my parents bought me growing up. The holiday traditions and time spent as a family make up my favorite memories.
For your teen
Family experience: write a time capsule letter with your intentions for 2022. Open it next year during the holidays as a family.
For your parents or friends
*You offering to hang out with your parents or loved ones for an hour will mean more than any present you could buy. Make it phone free time, unless the activity requires a phone. Be in the moment together.
Christmas is only a few days away, but it's not too late to make sure your loved ones know what they mean to you this holiday season.
